MINUTES <br />RAMSEY <br />COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONER <br />JAN PARKER <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />May 11, 2011 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 1 lth day of <br />May, 2011 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Trevor Oliver <br />Mr. Kevin Helander <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />Ms. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -5 -89 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE APRIL 27, 2011 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING, AND THE <br />APRIL 27, 2011 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Ramsey County Commissioner Jan Parker appeared before the Council <br />to present an update of County issues /activities. The first issue addressed <br />related to the County's budget and the direction that the County Board has <br />given to County Departments to cut 6% from their budgets for 2012 and <br />another 6% for 2013 due to uncertainty associated with the State deficit <br />impact. <br />Parker then reviewed County road projects, specifically those impacting <br />Little Canada which include the Highway 36 /Rice Street interchange <br />
