MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 3, 2025 <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-12-179 APPROVING A CHANGE TO THE POLICY TO ADD <br />CITY -PAID LONG-TERM DISABILITY PREMI UM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ACCEPT RESIGNATION OF RECREATION COORDINATOR EMELIE LINDABAUR AND <br />AUTHORIZE TO ADVERTISE <br />The City Clerk stated that the city received a resignation notice today from Emilie Lindabaur, who has <br />been the Recreation Coordinator for the past 18 months. She stated that the last day of employment <br />will be December 17th, and staff would like to post the position immediately in order to get someone on <br />board as soon as possible. <br />Miller commended the great job the Recreation Coordinator has done in her position and wished her <br />luck. <br />Mayor Fischer commented that the city has had great success in finding great people to fill the position <br />but has not had luck in retaining an employee for a long period in the position. He hoped that the <br />Recreation Coordinator would be making an upward move in her career and that the city would obtain <br />another great person for the position. <br />Mayor Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-12-180 — A CCEPTING THE RESIGNA TION OF EMELIE <br />LINDABAUR, RECREATION COORDINATOR, AND AUTHORIZE STAFF TO <br />ADVERTISE THE RECREATION COORDINATOR POSITION IMMEDIATELY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Malone stated that she will be attending an NYFS Board meeting the following day and will provide <br />an update at the next meeting. <br />Miller stated that he has an upcoming North Suburban Cable Commission meeting and will provide an <br />update at the next meeting. <br />Gutierrez stated that she and the Assistant City Administrator recently attended the Hmong New Year's <br />celebration at the St. Paul River Center, which was a great experience. <br />Kwapick noted the Ramsey County League of Local Government meeting he will be attending later <br />this week. <br />Mayor Fischer also provided input on a recent Hmong New Year's celebration. He also provided input <br />on the recent meetings of the Little Canada Historical Society and Metro Cities Board of Directors. He <br />5 <br />
