I have been a resident of Little Canada for over 6 years. I take much interest in our <br />parks and recreation, as we are very involved in the many activities offered. My family, which <br />includes 3 children, utilizes the many parks and trails including the skate park and ice rink, My <br />son has also been part of the Little Canada baseball League. We have enjoyed the new <br />playground at Thunder Bay Park and are looking forward to the new basketball court being <br />constructed. <br />I have a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies/ Therapeutic Recreation from the <br />University of MN. My focus has primarily been in a clinical setting working with adults with <br />mental illness, but I feel I could contribute greatly to the City Council regarding our wonderful <br />parks and organized activities and events. <br />Thank you for you consideration.
