EXHIBIT A <br />April 27, 2011 <br />Mr. Vance Johnson <br />304 East County Road B2 <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Re: Process of Compliance Agreement <br />Dear Mr Johnson, <br />In regards to the excessive storage levels at the above property we need to have an action <br />plan in place as soon as possible. The above property has been deemed hazardous and <br />poses a danger. The entire process will move quickly and will need your full cooperation <br />in order to be successful. Please be aware that moving items to a storage facility will not <br />resolve the issue, it will merely relocate it to another area. We have learned that when <br />items are moved to a storage facility, the payments become a burden and many of the <br />items stored end up back in the primary residence, thus resolving nothing. Our primary <br />concern is for your safety and the safety of our firefighters and first responders. With <br />this in mind I would like to bring the following to your attention: <br />The following items will need to be corrected at the above property: <br />1. All storage from the foyer, stairwells, hallways and landings must be removed. <br />2. All kitchen counter tops must be free of clutter. <br />3. All flooring areas must be clear of storage and clutter. <br />4. All flooring and kitchen surfaces including appliances must be of a clean and <br />sanitary condition. <br />5. There must be a 3' -0" clearance in front of all doors and windows for the entire <br />width of the window. <br />6. There must be a clean and sanitary place to consume meals <br />7. There must be no more than 20% storage in the living room. Storage is limited to <br />closets and cabinets. <br />8. The doorway from the living room into the kitchen must be clear of storage. <br />9. There must be a clearance of 3' -0" around the furnace and water heater and <br />electrical panel. <br />10. All hallways must be clear of storage. <br />
