MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 11, 2011 <br />RECONSIDER <br />DENIAL <br />OF PUD <br />PERMIT <br />FOR <br />MARKETPLACE <br />SHOPPING <br />CENTER <br />SIGN <br />Keis suggested that questions #70 and #72 as for a specific dollar amount <br />rather than a percentage. The City Administrator indicated that he would <br />discuss that suggestion with Leatherman. Blesener suggested that those <br />being surveyed may not realize what the City's share of property taxes <br />actually is. The Administrator stated that he would raise that issue with <br />Decision Resources. <br />The City Administrator noted that once these final changes are made, <br />Decision Resources will be ready to begin the survey work. He noted that <br />an article will be included in the upcoming City newsletter informing <br />residents of the survey. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -5 -92 — RECONSIDERING THE DENIAL <br />OF THE PUD PERMIT APPLICATION FOR MARKETPLACE <br />SHOPPING CENTER SIGN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -5 -93 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />APPLICATION FOR PUD PERMIT FOR MARKETPLACE <br />SHOPPING CENTER SIGN UNTIL THE MAY 25, 2011 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour reported that he and Council Member Boss met with the sign <br />company handling the Marketplace Shopping Center sign proposal. <br />Suggestions were made for improving the sign. Those will be made and <br />the sign will then be presented to the shopping center tenants for their <br />input. Once all that is accomplished, the proposal will be presented to the <br />Council at its May 25th meeting. Montour noted that Mr. Grootwassink, <br />the owner of the shopping center, signed a 60 -day waiver agreeing to table <br />the matter to the May 25" meeting. <br />The City Administrator reported that AT & T has submitted an Owner's <br />10 <br />12 <br />
