MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25, 2011 <br />the cost, plus administrative fee, to the property. The City Administrator <br />reported that Mr. Johnson has indicated his agreement to the timeline and <br />work schedule and has indicated he will sign the agreement. The <br />Administrator further noted that Mr. Johnson has made significant <br />progress in cleaning up the property. The Administrator reported that one <br />modification is required, that being that the existing pool on the property <br />must be either fenced or filled in as it is a hazard. Additional time would <br />be allowed for this work. <br />Keis asked about the work schedule relative to bedroom clean up. The <br />Administrator explained that Mr. Johnson is not being allowed to occupy <br />the property at this time, and likely will not be able to until the clean up is <br />completed. The Administrator noted that based on the work progression <br />schedule, the clean up of the master bedroom after the other bedrooms was <br />a result of activity to date. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -5 -106 — APPROVING THE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND VANCE JOHNSON RELATED TO THE <br />CLEAN -UP OF HIS PROPERTY WITH THE AMENDMENT <br />SUGGESTED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator again noted that Mr. Johnson has made dramatic <br />progress in cleaning up his property and that the City appreciated his <br />cooperation in this matter. <br />GRABA The City Administrator reported that he has not received the signed lease <br />PROPERTIES agreement with NeatoScan from Graba Properties. If this agreement is <br />LOAN not received by the next meeting, the Administrator reported that he would <br />AGREEMENT recommending some options to the Council. <br />WATER The City Administrator reported that when the Water Works trail <br />WORKS completion project was first proposed, the City obtained a grant to <br />TRAIL complete a number of its trail projects. However, given the several year <br />COMPLETION delay in getting permission from the railroad for the trail crossing, the City <br />had to forego the portion of the grant that would have gone to this project. <br />18 <br />
