MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 27, 2011 DECISION ON THE SUMP PUMP INSPECTION OPTION, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT, WITH FUNDS FOR THIS EXPENDITURE TO COME FROM THE WATER & SEWER CAPITAL REPLACEMENTFUND The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RATIFY The City Administrator reported that when the Canadian Days REVISED Committee Beer Garden Policies were adopted, the Committee limited CANADIAN the size of beer and wine coolers to 12 ounces. Wine coolers come in DAYS 16 ounce containers. Therefore, Canadian Days Committee has asked COMMITTEE that the Council ratify the corrected Beer Garden Policies to reflect the BEER 16 ounce containers. GARDEN POLICIES Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -7 -145 — APPROVING THE REVISED CANADIAN DAYS COMMITTEE BEER GARDEN POLICIES REFLECTING THE REVISED BEVERAGE SIZES AS REQUESTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. NORGARD The City Administrator reported that Dotty Norgard has resigned from RESIGNATION her position with the City and presented the Council with a proposed Separation Agreement relative to this resignation which addressed the some benefit issues and severance arrangement. Blesener read Dotty Norgard's letter of resignation, and wished Norgard the best of luck in her future ventures. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -7 -196 — ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF DOTTY NORGARD FROM HER POSITION WITH THE CITY AND APPROVING THE SEPARATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THAT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. 16
