MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 27, 2011 <br />TO VARIANCE STANDARDS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />METRO Simcha Plisner, Little Canada resident, appeared before the Council <br />MOBILITY expressing concerns about the Metro Mobility services that are provided <br />CONCERNS to the disabled in Little Canada. Plisner provided some background on his <br />disabled status and his need for the Metro Mobility service. In addition to <br />the large window of time that Metro Mobility requires for getting the <br />disabled to and from locations, Plisner noted that his primary concern is <br />with the times that Metro Mobility has set for return trips home, noting <br />that these times are much earlier than in other cities, while St. Paul and <br />Minneapolis have 24 -hour service. Plisner requested the City's assistance <br />in working with Metro Transit on this issue and indicated that whatever <br />help the City can provided would be greatly appreciated. <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Plisner also expressed his extreme gratitude to the Little Canada Fire <br />Department for the assistance that they have provided him over the years. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -7- 141 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*CALL FOR A 2012 BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING TO BE HELD <br />WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2011, AT 6:30 P.M.; <br />*APPROVAL OF PERSONNEL POLICY AMENDMENTS AS <br />PROPOSED IN STAFF'S REPORT DATED JULY 21, 2011 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AT & T CELL The City Administrator presented the Council with an amended AT & T <br />TOWER Tower Lease Agreement which increased the rental rate for antennas on <br />LEASE the City's water tower by $500 per month to $2,397 per month.
