MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 24, 2011 <br />AND EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING STORAGE CONTAINER, AT <br />3030 CENTERVILLE ROAD, 5 SMOS LLC, SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND ALL CITY CODE REQUIREMENTS WITHIN 30 <br />DAYS OF THIS APPROVAL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROPERTY Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider a Property Division <br />DIVISION — relative to the land swap between the City of Little Canada and Terrace <br />CITY/ Heights Mobilehome Park which was necessary given County Road B -2 <br />TERRACE improvements. The Planning Commission recommended approval subject <br />HEIGHTS to compliance with the recommendations of the City Engineer. <br />LAND SWAP <br />The City Planner reported that land swap between the City and Terrace <br />I- leights Mobilehome Park is needed to facilitate the County Road B -2 <br />turning land improvements as well as landscaping improvements planned <br />at this intersection. The land swap will also allow Terrace heights to <br />relocate some homes within the park. <br />Blesener noted the diagram of the proposed landscaping improvements on <br />the northeast corner of the Rice Street /County Road B -2 intersection. The <br />City Administrator pointed out that the proposed retaining wall and <br />landscape area will add screening and a visual amenity for the area. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -8 -161- APPROVING THE PROPERTY <br />DIVISION RELATIVE TO THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA/TERRACE HEIGHTS LAND SWAP AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />14 <br />
