MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 28, 2011
Administrator felt that the final lift cannot be delayed any longer. The
Administrator indicated that, if necessary, the City will have to hire
another contractor to complete the restoration work.
The City Administrator reported that the City Engineer feels the problem
lies more with the job superintendent rather than the contractor. The
Administrator reported that the City's project specification will be
modified to provide for more leverage with regard to substantial
completion on future projects. McGraw suggested that the City include
some language in specifications that would prevent this project
superintendent from working on any future Little Canada projects. The
Administrator indicated that he would discuss that suggestion with the
City Attorney to determine if it is an option.
ADJOURN Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -9 -198 - ADJOURNING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0).
