This type of store would provide the City the ability to offer City apparel
without having to carry any inventory. This store would be linked through the City's web site,
and customers would shop directly with the apparel provider. Selections would he made from an
inventory of apparel items that the City would pre- approve based on the type of store package it
selects. The City can choose to sell items at the provider's cost or mark the items up (up to 10 %)
to generate some revenue. The cost to the City would be dependent on the number of items
provided to choose from (16 items /$350, 24 items /$500, 36 items /$750 one -time charge plus
annual renewal fee of $50).
Attached is a brochure from Cityldentity, the on -line store provider, as well as a print -out from
the Frattalone On- Line store showing the merchandise they offer as well as the prices.
(Attachment #3) Frattalone has chosen not to mark -up the cost of these apparel items.
Staff will be prepared to answer the Council's questions on this opportunity at Wednesday's
workshop.
Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)
The City's Safety Committee is recommending that the City provide AEDs at the City Center,
Old Fire Hall, Pioneer Park, and Spooner Park. Many of the surrounding cities provide these
devices at their various facilities.
