Joel Hanson
From: Jurek, Colette C [ colette.c.jurek @xcelenergy.comj
Sent: Wednesday, October 05, 2011 11:43 AM
To: Joel Hanson
Cc: Bill Dircks; Bagley, Shawn D; Rauschendorfer, Mathew J
Subject: RE: Little Canada Road - Review UG Estimate
Joe].,
The preliminary engineering estimate for undergrounding Little Canada Road between
Edgerton and McMenemy is $416,249.78. Please be reminded:
1. This estimate was created from the aerial map provided during our 8/31/11 meeting.
The estimate was not established on any formal road reconstruction plan.
2. Xcel Energy design and engineering staff made assumptions about equipment placement
and system lay -out.
3. Mat Rauschendorter, our electric designer, has created a list of addresses that will
require conversion to be able to accept underground service.
4. This estimate does not include pole removal near St. John's Church.
5. This estimate does not include the single phase tap on McMenemy that needs to he
looped and re- fused.
I am in the process of scheduling a meeting to discuss this estimate with you and your
staff. I will also invite our outdoor lighting representative to the next meeting so that
you can discuss your lighting options.
Do you still wish to proceed with requesting the underground estimate for the next section
from McMenemy to COR C? We can discuss this when we meet later in the month.
Thanks,
Colette
Original Message
From: Joel Hanson [ rnai. lto: joel. hanson @ci.litt.le- canada.mn.us]
Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2011 10:59 AM
To: Jurek, Colette C
Cc: Bill Dircks
Subject: RE: Little Canada Road - Review UG Estimate
Any of those options works as of now.
Is there any chance we can receive the estimate now so we can at least work on the budget
implications?
Original Message
From: Jurek, Colette C [ mailto: colette.c.jurek @xcelenergy.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2011 10:41 AM
To: Joel Hanson
Subject: Little Canada Road - Review UG Estimate
Joel.,
Mat Rauschendorfer has completed his estimate for the section along LCR between Edgerton
and McMernenemy. I'd like to schedule a brief meeting with you to review those figures. I
am going to be out of the office for a few days so here are some dates that will work on
our end:
October 19th between 11 AM and 4 PM
2
1
