w wit% ii. assoa.1T.Es <br />Memo <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: January 23, 2008 <br />RE: Beam Avenue Project <br />As the City Council is aware we are currently working with the City of Maplewood on the <br />improvement of the Little Canada portion of Beam Avenue, which is being included as <br />part of a much larger reconstruction project being completed by Maplewood. The <br />improvements to Beam Avenue include the reconstruction of the street to an urban <br />section and installation of watermain. The feasibility is being prepared and will be <br />presented at the January 30, 2008 City Council meeting for approval. <br />In addition to approval of the feasibility study we also request that the City Council <br />authorize holding of a public hearing for the improvements on Beam Avenue.
