MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
FEBRUARY 14, 2008
ADJOURN
Knudsen felt that the project will be an improvement for the area. He asked
about proof of parking. The City Planner indicated that there are no issues
with proof of parking, noting that there is adequate room on the site for
future parking.
Knudsen asked about the request for the temporary trailer. Politz indicated
that the property owner is considering the rental of a 30 by 60 foot trailer to
house office personnel during the construction. He indicated that given the
cost of this trailer rental and if the office personnel utilizing the lunchroom
for office space can continue to work in those conditions, the owner may
not rent the trailer. While the Commission felt the trailer was very large, it
was noted that it was a temporary condition that would exist during building
construction. The City Planner noted that the trailer would have to be
removed upon occupancy of the new building space.
Duray asked about the recommendations of the City Engineer. Politz
reported that they are in agreement with all recommendations and have
made applications for all necessary reviews.
Duray asked if the existing building was sprinkled. Politz replied that it
was and the new addition will be sprinkled as well.
Knudsen recommended approval of a PUD Permit to allow a building
expansion for Express Image, a commercial printing establishment, as
proposed by R. J. Marco Construction subject to compliance with the
recommendations of the City Planner and the City Engineer and subject to
removal of the metal building on the property one year from the date of
building permit issuance.
Motion seconded by Duray.
Motion carried 6 -- 0.
Duray recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Barrraclough.
Motion carried 6 — 0.
- 3 -
19
