As of February 22, 2008 there has been no action by you to correct the <br />violations noted in the letter. You are required to comply with the following orders. <br />1. Fire Rated Construction <br />Minnesota State Fire Code 703.1. <br />The required fire- resistance rating of fire- resistance construction (including walls, <br />firestops, partitions, smoke barriers and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements <br />shall be properly repaired, or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or <br />penetrated. <br />a) The sheetrock has been removed from the walls of this unit. This violates <br />the fire rated construction requirements of the building. <br />You are required to contact a sheetrock contractor to repair this unit with proper <br />building permits and inspections. <br />2. Electrical Equipment, Wiring and Hazards <br />Minnesota State Fire Code 605 <br />Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. <br />a) Open junction boxes and wiring splices shall not be permitted. <br />You are required to contact an electrical contactor to repair the wiring in this unit with <br />proper permits and inspections. <br />7 <br />
