MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 2011 <br />that one of the key issues to be discussed is that of sidewalks. The City <br />will not have to pay for sidewalk improvements in areas where sidewalks <br />already exist but will have to in areas where there are no sidewalks. The <br />City will also have to pay for any right -of -way or easement acquisitions <br />needed for the project. In some cases only temporary easements will be <br />necessary. In the Phase I project, the County was able to use Federal <br />dollars for these costs. The Administrator indicated that the County will <br />have a right -of -way impact report for the Council's review at the <br />workshop. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -10 -205 — CALLING A WORKSHOP FOR <br />MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2011 AT 6:00 P.M. WITH RAMSEY <br />COUNTY TO REVIEW THE RICE STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />PHASE II <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />3046 The City Administrator reported that the City will be closing on 3046 <br />LABORE LaBore Road this Friday. This foreclosed property is being acquired by <br />ROAD the City in order to obtain a portion of the lot for trail purposes. <br />ADJOURN Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -10 -206 — ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
