MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 8, 1999 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Morelan asked how much the 10 cents per ton license fee meant in <br />revenue for the City. Frattalone estimated that they sell 50,000 to 100,000 <br />tons each year; therefore, the license feel would be $5,000 to $10,000. <br />Pedersen indicated that he agreed with all other provisions outlined in the <br />Development Agreement, and suggested that the only open issue was that <br />of the bond amount. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -6-133 — APPROVING THE FRA -DOR <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT SUBJECT TO A FURTHER <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM THE C17'YADMINISTRATOR AND <br />CITY ATTORNEY ON TIIE BOND AMOUNT OR OTHER OPTIONS <br />FOR ADDRESSING THE ISSUE OF REMOVAL OF THE <br />STOCKPILES AND RESTORATION OF THE PROPERTY AT THE <br />TERMINATION OF THE INTERIM USE PERMIT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (1) Scalze. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Council reviewed the proposed Licensing Ordinance for the stockpiling <br />and crushing of aggregate. Scalze was concerned that the ordinance did <br />not address the fact that this was an interim use. Morelan pointed out that <br />this ordinance is amending the City's license fee codes. The Attorney <br />replied that this was correct. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 487 - AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS <br />302.010., SURD. 12, AND 302.020(C) TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, RELATING TO LICENSING <br />OF STOCKPILING AND CRUSHING OF AGGREGATE <br />MATERIALS <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
