Aichinger indicated that he will provide the neighbors assistance in applying for a permit to treat <br />water lilies. He again noted that the property owners would be responsible for the treatment <br />process cost. An estimate of the cost can be obtained from a herbicide applicator. Day asked if <br />Aichinger could look into the possibility of the Watershed deflecting some of this cost. The City <br />Administrator also suggested that the City Council would discuss this issue. Aichinger noted <br />that this is a private wetland area, and it is difficult to appropriate funds to a privately held water <br />body. Day felt it was an environmental issue, noting that the abundance of water lilies have <br />eliminated habitat for wildlife. <br />There being no further business, the neighborhood meeting adjourned at 9:55 p.m. <br />
