CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2001 OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE MINNESOTA STATE FIRE CODE. <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 2001.010. is hereby amended as follows: <br />2001.010. ADOPTION OF FIRE CODE. The City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada hereby adopts the 2007 Minnesota State Fire Code for the purpose of prescribing <br />regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion. The <br />adoption of the 2007 Minnesota State Fire Code includes the adoption of all amendments <br />adopted from time to time. The 2007 Minnesota State Fire Code is hereby incorporated in this <br />ordinance as if fully set out herein. <br />Section 2. <br />Sections 2001.030. through 2001.070. are hereby amended as follows: <br />2001.030. DEFINITIONS. <br />(A) Wherever the word "jurisdiction" is used in the Minnesota State Fire Code, it shall <br />be held to mean the City of Little Canada. <br />(B) Wherever the term "corporation counsel" is used in the Minnesota State Fire <br />Code, it shall be held to mean the attorney for the City of Little Canada. <br />2001.040. ESTABLISHMENT OF LIMITS OF DISTRICTS IN WHICH STORAGE <br />OF FLAMMABLE OR COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS IN OUTSIDE ABOVE- GROUND TANKS <br />IS TO BE PROHIBITED. <br />(A) The limits referred to in Chapters 22, 27, and 34 of the Minnesota State Fire Code <br />in which storage of flammable or combustible liquids in outside above - ground tanks is <br />prohibited, are hereby established as follows: There shall be no storage of such flammable <br />liquids within fifty (50) feet of any building or structure. Exception: Occupancy classification <br />R3 (residential) home heating fuel oil tanks. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />8 <br />
