uate: Wed, 9 Jul 2008 23:18:45 -0700
From: xquisite077 @yahoo.com
ubject: Rice & Cty Rd C Strip Mall
.o: council @ci.little- canada.mn.us
lello city council members,
recently overheard that the owner of the strip mall at Rice St and County Rd C, the one with Movie Gallery,
.subway, Fu Xing, Great Clips, etc was selling the property so a new CVS Pharmacy can be built. As a long time
resident of Little Canada, I am strongly against this idea. There is a Walgreens across the street and a Snyders
!rug further down Rice St.. which I might add doesn't seem to get enough business. By approving this plan,
you will be getting rid of businesses that are favorites among residents of Little Canada. It is absolutely
ridiculous that there should be three large pharmacies within less than half a mile! I do not see how approving
le building of a CVS Pharmacy would promote economic growth within our city. The way I see it, you would
hinder growth since all the current businesses would move elsewhere and me as a customer with it. I really do
' of want to have drive any further to grab a bite to eat or rent a movie. Please reconsider this. Thank you for
stening to my concerns.
Sandra
7/10/2008
