MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 10, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />May, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Jon Hall (arr. 7:45 p.m.) <br />Mr. Jeff Helmeke <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The April 12, 2007 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />CUP — Mr. Ray Richardson, 3046 Greenbrier Street, appeared before the <br />3046 Commission seeking approval of a Conditional Use Permit to construct <br />GREENBRIER a detached garage consisting of approximately 1,500 square feet. <br />STREET — Richardson indicated that he would be replacing the existing garage on <br />RICHARDSON his property. The new garage would be used for the storage of cars, a boat, <br />and lawn equipment. Richardson reviewed the proposed setbacks for the <br />garage, pointing out the ditch that is adjacent to his property. He indicated <br />that the garage will have a 2 foot overhang; therefore, it will be 12 feet from <br />the property line and 10 to 15 feet from the ditch easement. <br />Knudsen asked Richardson his plans for his house. Richardson reported <br />that he currently has a pre -fab house and would be replacing it within <br />approximately five years. Richardson indicated that the garage would be <br />stucco and the same color as the existing house. Singles will be green to <br />match the existing house, but may be a slightly different shade of green. <br />The new house that will eventually be constructed will match this proposed <br />garage. The garage will have a hip roof, as will the new house. <br />
