MN 55101 -2140 <br />April 4, 2007 <br />Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road East <br />Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 -1633 <br />Re: Proposal for Water Distribution Lealc Survey <br />Dear Mr. Dircks: <br />(6511 292-4400 <br />(651) 292 -0083 Fax <br />0Paw.1 k d a. corn <br />APR 0 5 2007 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />Pursuant to our communications, we propose to provide engineering services to survey your <br />Water Distribution System and provide a leak survey utilizing leak detection equipment <br />developed and sold by Fluid Conservation Systems Corporation, hereinafter called the Project. <br />Our services will be provided in the manner described in this Proposal subject to the terms and <br />conditions set forth in Articles 1 through 7 of the attached "General Provisions of Architect- <br />Engineer Agreement" dated October 1993. Hereinafter, the City of Little Canada is referred to <br />as the OWNER. <br />I. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY TKDA <br />Based on TKDA'S understanding of the Project, we propose to provide the following services: <br />A. PART 1 - GENERAL SURVEY AND REPORT <br />1. Conduct a survey of the OWNER'S water distribution system to identify the <br />presence and location of leaks, utilizing Fluid Conservation System Corporation's <br />leak detection equipment. The entire distribution system shall be surveyed which <br />includes approximately 540 hydrants. <br />2. Prepare and submit to the OWNER a letter -report summarizing the results of the <br />survey. The report will include any specific leak locations, if any, identified in <br />SECTION I.B. <br />B. PART 2 - SPECIFIC LEAK LOCATIONS <br />If authorized by the OWNER, utilize correlator equipment to obtain specific locations of <br />leaks within the system. <br />An Employee Owned Company Promoting Ail ir native Action and Equal Opportunity <br />
