OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES This Proposal is made with the understanding that the OWNER will provide the follow-Ma services relating to the Project at no cost to TKDA: A. Provide a current map of water distribution system hydrant locations. B. Assist TKDA representative in locating. hydrants and curb stops as may be necessary. C. Provide access to and make provisions for TKDA to enter privately or publicly owned property as may be required to perfouu the services of SECTION I.B. III. PERIOD OF SERVICE We would expect to start our services promptly upon receipt of your acceptance of this Proposal and to complete SECTION LA and I.B services within six months. IV. COMPENSATION A. PART 1 - GENERAL SURVEY AND REPORT Compensation to us for services rendered under SECTION I.A shall be on a Lump Sum basis as defined in Article 3 of the General Provisions, in the amount of $2,900. B. PART 2 - SPECIFIC LEAK LOCATIONS Compensation for services rendered under SECTION I.B shall be on an Hourly Rate basis as defined in Article 3 of the General Provisions, subject to the following additional conditions: 1. Compensation for services under PART 2 shall be at the rate of $100.00 per hour. 2. Travel and subsistence expenses associated with PART 2 services are included in the PART 1 lump sum amount, if the PART 2 services are accomplished in conjunction with the PART 1 trip to the site. Travel and subsistence costs will, however, be billed to the OWNER, if an additional trip to the site is required to perform or complete the PART 2 services.
