CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />CHANGE ORDER #3 <br />This contract is amended as follows: <br />WHEREAS: It was determined by the Engineer that additional curb and gutter should be <br />replaced as part of the City Hall parking lot reconstruction; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that debris encountered during the excavation for the <br />rainwater garden required additional work and disposal costs; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that a hydrant along Savage Lane required a 1 -foot <br />extension to allow for proper use; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that modifications were required at the Morrison Street <br />retaining wall and that restoration measures including bale checks and <br />restoration around the retaining wall had to be completed immediately following <br />its construction due to the grades around the wall; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined the sanitary sewer service for 314 Carla Lane required <br />repair due to a failed repair when the original watermain was installed; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that the curb stop at 2630 Ruth Street was leaking and <br />required repair; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined upon inspection the bolts on some valves and hydrants <br />were suffering from extensive corrosion and should be replaced with new <br />stainless steel bolts on Morrison Street, Demont Avenue, and Ruth Street; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that the inverts of 3 catch basins on Labore Road were <br />in need of reconstruction; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that the existing sanitary sewer for 2545 Morrison <br />Street had to be lowered for the installation of the storm sewer; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined the watermain service corporation for 2545 Morrison <br />Street was leaking at the main and needed to be replaced; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that the inverts of the structure at the intersection of <br />Morrison Street and Sextant Avenue needed to be modified to fit field conditions; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that an additional catch basin inlet should be installed <br />at the south radius of the City Hall driveway; and <br />
