MICHAEL <br />McGRAW <br />MINUTES <br />VARIANCE, <br />REZONING, <br />CUP - <br />228 LITTLE <br />CANADA ROAD — <br />SINCLAIR <br />STATION <br />osomassizaggesOSMMD <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 8, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br />February, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Jeff Helmeke <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />Duray congratulated Michael McGraw on his appointment to the <br />City Council. He also noted that this appointment results in a vacancy on <br />the Planning Commission, and indicated that anyone interested in serving <br />on the Commission should submit a letter of interest by Wednesday, <br />February 21s`. <br />The January 11, 2007 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />The Commission reviewed the application of Rick Dehn, Dehn <br />Diversified Development, owner of the Sinclair Station for a Variance <br />to allow signage exceeding the total square footage as well as the <br />maximum number of signs allowed by the zoning Code, Rezoning to <br />either Auto - Oriented Business District (B -2) or Comprehensive <br />Business District (B -4), and a Conditional Use Permit for the operation of a <br />convenience store /motor fuel station in the B -4 District. <br />Rick Dehn, Dehn Diversified Development, reported that he would like to <br />make an improvement to the current price sign at the Sinclair Station.
