Pursuant to these provisions of the Subdivision Code, the City has approved
temporary cul -de -sacs in excess of 500 feet in other plats to provide the necessary
potential for future extension of streets into adjoining un- subdivided tracts. The Charles
Addition Plat is such a plat that was approved in 1984. As originally approved, Leeward
Way was a temporary cul -de -sac in excess of 500 feet. Leeward Way was extended into
adjoining un- subdivided tracts by two or three subsequent subdivisions by Tom Theis.
Would you please review the enclosed to determine if any additions or deletions
would be beneficial. If the enclosed is acceptable, would you please submit the same to
the City Council for their consideration and review. If anyone has any further questions
relative to this matter, please contact the undersigned.
Very truly yours,
SWEENEY, BORER & SWEENEY
Thomas M Sweeney
TMS:jnm
cc: Kathy Glanzer
Stephen Grittman
