MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 27, 2007 French stated that the driveway he is proposing is not much different than others along Edgerton Street that have turn - arounds. The Planner noted that the Code does not allow parking on turn - arounds. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2 007 -6 -147 — APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FORA DETACHED GARAGE CONSISTING OF 1,500 SQUARE FEET AS REQUESTED BY ROY FRENCH, 2988 EDGERTON STREET, WITH THE REQUIREMENT THAT THERE BE SOME SCREENING OF PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY CROSSING THE FRONT YARD, SUBJECT TO THERE BEING NO BUSINESS USE OF THE PROPERTY, SUBJECT TO THERE BEING NO ADDITIONAL SHEDS ON THE PROPERTY, AND SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENT OFA DUAL BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE GARAGE AND THE HOUSE REMODELING AS DISCUSSED THIS EVENING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (2) Montour, McGraw. Nays (2) Allan, Blesener. Motion failed. VARIANCE — Mayor Blesener noted that Mr. and Mrs. Wittner have withdrawn their 231 DEMONT request for a Variance from the front yard setback requirement of 30 feet AVENUE — to accommodate a kitchen addition on their house located at 231 Demont WITTNER Avenue. CONCEPT Mayor Blesener opened the Concept Review for the development of REVIEW — approximately 15 single - family lots for the property located at 685 and 685 AND 693 693 LaBore Road owned by Kevin Steinert. Blesener noted that this is LABORE a Concept Review only, and that the City does not have detailed ROAD — information on engineering, drainage, ponding, etc. He also noted that STEINERT while the property has existed as two large lots with a lot of open space, property owners have the rights to develop their property within the confines of the City's Codes. 10
