deemed to be "terminated" on the date of such reduction or refusal to comply with the <br />provisions of this Agreement. In this event, Hanson shall be entitled to severance pay in <br />accordance with this Agreement. <br />C. If Hanson voluntarily resigns his position with the City, Hanson agrees to give the City <br />45 days advance notice. If Hanson voluntarily resigns his position with the City, there <br />shall be no severance pay due to Hanson. In this event, Hanson will be paid for any <br />unused vacation pay and sick leave at the same rate allowed other employees with similar <br />longevity. <br />D. In consideration for the commitments of the City in this Second Amendment as to salary, <br />compensation adjustments, and severance pay, Hanson agrees to a two year employment <br />contract as City Administrator for the City of Little Canada, commencing January 1, <br />2002. <br />This Second Amendment to the Agreement ofNovem ber 8, 1989, between the City of <br />Little Canada and Hanson shall be effective December 17 , 2002. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little Canada has authorized the execution of this <br />First Amendment on behalf of the City of Little Canada by its Mayor and City Administrator, <br />and Hanson has signed this Second Amendment, in duplicate, the day and year first written <br />above. <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />By: <br />Michael .
