The Contractor shall deliver and unload trash and other materials <br />only at facilities that are properly licensed and permitted for those <br />materials. <br />ii: The Contractor shall dispose of all trash collected in Little Canada at a <br />Resource Recovery Facility consistent with the current Minnesota Waste <br />Management Act (M.S. 115A), Ramsey County Solid Waste Master Plan, <br />Ramsey County facility operating contracts and other Ramsey County <br />policies. <br />If such a Resource Recovery Facility is not reasonable available, the <br />Contractor will notify the City immediately. The City will then contact <br />Ramsey County for further direction and currently policy guidance. The <br />Contractor shall abide by the policy guidance then designated by the City. <br />i Any deviation of this provision shall be considered a violation and default <br />of this Contract. The Contractor shall maintain actual receipts <br />documenting disposal tonnages and shall provide the City with copies of <br />such receipts. Estimated Little Canada tonnages shall be reported to the <br />City bi- annually. All costs associated with disposal (tipping fees) shall be <br />based upon fees net of any rebates that the Contractor may be eligible for, <br />regardless of when (or if) received by the Contractor. It shall be <br />understood that the disposal rate in Exhibit A shall be based upon the <br />lowest available tipping fee charged by an approved waste disposal facility. <br />Notification. If any resident of the City places any items out for <br />pickup and the item is not taken by the Contractor, the Contractor <br />shall provide immediate written notification to the resident and the <br />City of reason(s) for refusal to pick up the item. Notification must be <br />left on the item(s) in question. <br />k. Exceptions for Handicapped and /or Disabled. The Contractor shall <br />make reasonable exceptions as to the manner of pickup for <br />handicapped or disabled residents. <br />2. Yard Waste Collection. <br />a. Description. Yard waste collection service shall include the <br />collection of all yard waste from participating residential dwelling <br />units in the City of Little Canada. Cost for this service is described in <br />Attachment "A." <br />b. Containers. Residential dwelling units shall have their yard waste <br />segregated from other refuse in a container clearly identified as "Yard <br />-6- <br />
