Planning Commission Letter of Interest
Dear City Administrator-
I would like to express my interest in becoming a member of the Little Canada
Planning Commission. I am a 2 year resident here in Little Canada, along with
being involved with a local business recently relocated to Little Canada (North
Heights Hardware Hank).
Since moving into Little Canada and owning a home here I am continually
amazed at the small town feel that Little Canada conveys to all of its residents,
yet it is located amongst other major cities. When I moved into the
neighborhood, all my neighbors were more than willing to come over and
introduce themselves in order to make me feel part of the community, The city
does a great job maintaining all of its facilities for us as residents to use on a
regular basis. They also have done a great job in developing city restrictions and
guidelines to keep Little Canada well organized from a visual point of view.
I would like to become a member of the planning commission to be involved on
making recommendations to the city council based on the zoning and ordinance
rules in place. In my current job we are required to interpret technology
specifications and make recommendations based on a strict set of guidelines. I
would like to put these skills to use in order to give back to this city and this
great community I have become a part of over the last 2 years. I think being
part of the residential and business community here in Little Canada I would be
able to provide great insight into all the unique issues that the planning
commission faces on a regular basis.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my letter of interest.
Nick Schwalbach
7
