909. "R -B ", RESIDENTIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />909.010. PURPOSE. The purpose of the "R -B ", Residential Business District is to <br />provide for a transition in land use from residential to low intensity business and allowing <br />for the intermixing of such uses. <br />909.020. PERMITTED USES. <br />A. Single family detached dwellings <br />B. Two family dwellings <br />909.030. PERMITTED ACCESSORY USES. <br />A. A. Private garages, parking spaces and carports for licensed and operable <br />passenger cars and trucks not to exceed a gross vehicle weight of twelve <br />thousand (12,000) pounds, as regulated by Section 903.050 (Off - Street <br />Parking) of this Ordinance. Private garages are intended for use to share <br />the private passenger vehicles of the family or families resident upon the <br />premises, and in which no business service or industry is carried on. Such <br />space can be rented to non - residents of the property for private passenger <br />vehicles and /or non - commercial vehicles, trailers, or equipment if <br />sufficient off - street parking in full compliance with this Ordinance is <br />provided elsewhere on the property. Such garage shall not be used for the <br />storage of more than one (1) commercial vehicle owned or operated by a <br />resident per dwelling unit. <br />B. Storage of recreational vehicles and recreational equipment, subject to the <br />regulations of Section 903.020 and 903 0501 <br />C. Home occupations - permitted and special (See Home Occupation regulations <br />in Section 903.120.. <br />D. Non - commercial greenhouses and conservatories. <br />E. Swimming pool, tennis courts and other recreational facilities which are <br />operated for the enjoyment and convenience of the residents of the <br />principal use and their guests. <br />F. Public pedestrian trails (as defined by Section 902 of this Ordinance) but not <br />public parks. <br />909.040. CONDITIONAL USES. (Requires a conditional use permit based upon <br />procedures set forth in and regulated by Section 921 of this Ordinance.) <br />- 1 1 9 - <br />
