MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 21, 2011 <br />PAWN The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider the renewal of the <br />BROKERS following licenses: <br />LICENSE & <br />SECOND PAWN BROKERS LICENSE <br />HAND GOODS Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />DEALERS <br />LICENSES SECOND HAND GOODS DEALERS LICENSE <br />Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />Christian Life Ministries <br />Joe's Sporting Goods <br />Plaza Thrift Store <br />Quality Furniture <br />The City Clerk reported all renewal applications have been received and are in <br />order. It was also noted that the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department has <br />indicated that they have no concerns with these businesses seeking renewal of <br />their licenses. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was closed. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -12 -240 — RENEWING THE FOLLOWING <br />LICENSES FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2012 THROUGH <br />DECEMBER 31, 2012: <br />PAWN BROKERS LICENSE <br />Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />SECOND HAND GOODS DEALERS LICENSE <br />Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />Christian Life Ministries <br />Joe's Sporting Goods <br />Plaza Thrift Store <br />Quality Furniture <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
