December 22, 2011 <br />Joel I-Ianson, City Administrator <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road East <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Joel, <br />SEVILLE <br />We are pleased to provide you with a proposal for Financial and Accounting- related services. <br />The City of Roseville is prepared to offer temporary services to be billed at an hourly rate based <br />Upon the scope of services and skill sets required. We understand that the services you desire are <br />still being determined and subject to change depending on your needs. We further understand <br />that our services may be needed for the months of January and February. <br />Our proposal is as follows: <br />1) We propose to provide the following types of services as needed at a billing rate of $24 <br />per hour: <br />• General data entry, entry of water meter readings <br />• Processing and printing utility bills and mail preparation <br />• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts functions <br />• Managing utility accounts including adds, deletes, and changes <br />These services would be performed by a Roseville Accounting Technician. The billing <br />rate represents the current standard rate for the Accounting Technician. We can provide <br />up to 10 hours per week at this rate. Additional hours will be billed at the overtime rate <br />of $36 per hour up to a maximum of 5 additional hours per week. <br />2) We further propose to provide the following types of services as needed at a billing rate <br />of $65 per hour: <br />• Bank statement reconciliation <br />❖ Journal entries, financial reporting, month -end account reconciliations <br />Audit workpapers <br />44 Month -end or year -end account reconciliations not performed by the Staff <br />Accountant <br />❖ Supervisory decision - making <br />These services would be performed by Brenda Davitt, Assistant Finance Director. The <br />billing rate represents the current standard rate for Brenda with a 1.4 multiplier. The <br />multiplier will offset any opportunity costs resulting from deferred projects as well as the <br />added hours she may have to put in.
