MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 25, 2012 RESCHEDULE MARCH 2811 COUNCIL MEETING ROUTES OF REGIONAL SIGNIFICANCE GRANT ADJOURN The City Administrator requested that the Council consider rescheduling the March 28th Council meeting given he has a conflict that evening. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -1 -23 — RESCHEDULING THE MARCH 28, 2012 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO THURSDAY, MARCH 29, 2012 AT 7:30 P.M. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw, Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported that Ramsey County would like to pursue a Routes of Regional Significance Program Grant for Phase II of the Rice Street project, and is asking for a resolution of support from the City. The Administrator indicated that while these grant dollars cannot be used for acquisition of right -of -way or amenities, if the grant is obtained, it will free up County dollars for these types of uses. The Administrator pointed out that there are challenges within this project, and receipt of the grant will help address some of these challenges. The City of Roseville is also being asked for their support of the County's grant application. Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012-1-24 — ADOPTING A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF AN APPLICATION TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (MN DOT) FOR ROUTES OF REGIONAL SIGNIFICANCE PROGRAM FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE RESOLUTION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -1 -25 — ADJOURNING 3
