(c) <br />The imposition of an administrative fine upon . a licensee, and /or <br />suspension of license or revocation of a license will be processed <br />pursuant to Little Canada City Code Chapter 800. Licensees, <br />whose licenses have been revoked, shall not be eligible for another <br />Tobacco Products License for a minimum period of one year from <br />the date of said revocation. <br />Section 10 <br />SUMMARY PUBLICATION. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in the <br />case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary may be published. While a copy of the entire <br />ordinance is available without cost at the office of the City Cleric, the following summary <br />is approved by the City Council and shall be published in lieu of publishing the entire <br />ordinance: <br />The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the City's tobacco license code <br />(Section 802) to create a two - tiered license system for tobacco sales permits. The <br />ordinance amendment bans all indoor smoking, including sampling, in new <br />establishments and in non - exclusive tobacco stores. Sales of pipes and similar <br />tobacco- related products are limited to Tobacco Stores only. The amendment also <br />updates Section 802 to include new tobacco- related products which have recently <br />been offered for sale. The amendment also authorizes the Council to impose <br />administrative fines for violations of license restrictions beyond the sale of <br />tobacco to minors. <br />Section 10 <br />Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and <br />publication. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of Little Canada this day of <br />2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />BY: <br />Joel R.
