MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 14, 2026 <br />Ms. Kuhnau provided examples of similar stations and noted that additional information can be found <br />on the Metro Transit website. <br />Malone asked and received confirmation that the park and ride would continue to operate as is. <br />Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public. <br />There were no comments from the public. Upon motion by Kwapick, seconded by Miller, the public <br />hearing was closed. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Motion adopted. <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2026-1-2 — APPROVING A FRONT SETBACK VARIANCE FOR A <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AT 0 MARKETPLACE DRIVE, SUBJECT TO THE <br />CONDITIONS AND FINDINGS OF FACT WITHIN THE STAFF REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. <br />Ayes (4). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />APPROVE A TITLE VI IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />The City Engineer explained that the Council is asked to consider the adoption of the City of Little <br />Canada Title VI Implementation Plan. He noted that it is linked to the Little Canada Road project, but <br />also reflects things the city is already committed to. He provided an overview of the details within the <br />plan and recommended approval as presented. <br />3 <br />
