MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2012 <br />property. McGraw asked about the use of the five designated spaces for <br />indoor auto display as an area for auto repair. The City Planner pointed <br />out that the State license requires the five indoor display spaces, but was <br />not sure if the State would limit the use of these spaces. The Planner <br />indicated that the issue is not addressed in the City Code. <br />Montour asked about the issues raised in the Code Enforcement Officer's <br />February 16, 2012 report. Fischer replied that those issues have been <br />corrected. <br />McGraw asked if the limitation that there be no outdoor display extended <br />to signage and not just vehicles. The City Plainer replied that the <br />limitation was no outdoor display of vehicles associated with the indoor <br />auto sales CUP. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Keis, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -2 -36— APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMITS FOR INDOOR, RETAIL USED -CAR SALES <br />DEALERSHIPS FOR 200 AND 202 RYAN DRIVE SUBJECT TO <br />THERE BEING NO OUTDOOR STORAGE ASSOCIATED WITH <br />THE INDOOR, RETAIL USED CAR DEALERSHIPS AND SUBJECT <br />TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AS OUTLINED IN HER <br />REPORTS DATED FEBRUARY I, 2012 AND FEBRUARY 16, 2012 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VARIANCE — Montour opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for a Variance <br />298 ROSE to allow the storage of a wood pile in a front yard and to allow the parking <br />LANE — of operational recreational trailers, recreational equipment, utility trailer, <br />ANDERSON and other related equipment in the front yard of 298 Rose Lane. It was <br />noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Variance subject to conditions. <br />4 <br />
