Hanson <br />www.eLlittle-canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: October 5, 2006 <br />RE: Pawn Brokers License & Second Hand Goods Dealers License <br />Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry — William David Caputa <br />Mr. William David Caputa is in the process of purchasing Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry and <br />has made application for a Pawn Brokers License and Second Hand Goods Dealers <br />License. Mr. Caputa plans to operate the pawn shop in the same manner as it is currently <br />being operated. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 <br />p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br />Attached is a letter Lt. Mike Salter of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br />recommending the installation of a video camera surveillance system at the pawn shop. <br />Please also be advised that the Sheriff's Department Background Check on Mr. Caputa <br />was satisfactory. <br />
