MINUTES <br />PROPERTY <br />DIVISION/ <br />COMBINATION <br />2612 AND 2620 <br />SPRUCE <br />STREET — <br />FINKELSON <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 10, 2006 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />August, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />Mr. Gary Rheaume <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The minutes of the July 13, 2006 minutes were approved as submitted. <br />Norman Finkelson, 2612 Spruce Street, and David and Samantha <br />Finkelson, 2620 Spruce Street, appeared before the Commission to <br />request the subdivision of 25 feet of property from 2612 Spruce Street <br />and the combination of that 25 feet with 2620 Spruce Street. Norman <br />Finkelson indicated that he will eventually sell his property and wants <br />to give the 25 feet to his son to enlarge his lot. <br />Duray asked if David Finkelson had any plans for this area. David <br />Finkelson replied that he did not; he would just have a larger yard area. <br />Barraclough asked if setback requirements will be met. The City Planner <br />noted that the house at 2612 Spruce would have a side yard setback of 8 <br />feet, 3 inches. The City's minimum side yard setback requirement is 7'/ <br />feet. <br />
