LITTLE CANADA REFUSE & RECYCLING SERVICE CONTRACT THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this Isla' day of December, 2001, day of , 2006, by and between the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, a municipal corporation in the County of Ramsey, herein referred to as "City," and Browning Ferris Industries, Inc., Allied Waste Services of North America (BFI), a Minnesota corporation, Gene's Disposal, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, Waste Management, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, and Bill Horrigan, dba Horrigan Hauling, a Minnesota corporation, herein referred to collectively as "Contractor." RECITALS: WHEREAS, the City requires the collection and disposal of garbage and rubbish, yard waste, and recyclables from residences in the City of Little Canada; Whereas, the Contractor is a group of licensed haulers in the City of Little Canada engaged in the business of collection and disposing of garbage and rubbish, yard waste, and recyclables; and Whereas, the City desires to hire the services of the Contractor and the Contractor desires to provide services to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between all parties: I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to make a complete collection of garbage and refuse and -yard waste from all residences in the City of Little Canada at least once in each calendar week during the term of this Contract, single sort recyclables once every two weeks, two sort recyclables for customers of Gene's Disposal once every week and yard waste on a weekly basis from April 1st through November 30th for those participating customers. Such collections shall include all residential properties having two (2) or less dwelling units in a single building by use of individual containers. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and facilities necessary to fulfill the terms and conditions of this Contract. The Contractor shall provide said services in compliance with all applicable laws and shall charge for said services on a volume -based schedule. 3
