Joel Hanson <br />City Administrator <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />9/1/06 <br />Dear Joel, <br />I am responding to the article in the Roseville- Little Canada Review dated 8/22/06 for the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission position. I have been a life long resident of Little Canada and have <br />participated in and supported the Parks and Recreation Department. Pioneer, Spooner and Grist <br />Mill Parks have become a big part of my families lives. We enjoy walking our dog, playing <br />tennis and just running in to people we know along the way. I feel that it is very important to <br />keep our parks clean, safe and well maintained. <br />I am currently employed by the City of Roseville as a Horticulture Technician. My primary duties <br />are to maintain the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum located at 2525 N. Dale street. I also work with the <br />Roseville Parks Maintenance staff on projects at the other parks. I attended Hennepin Technical <br />College in their Landscape Design and Construction program 2001 -2002. <br />I hope that you consider me for this position. I am very passionate about preserving our parks and <br />wildlife.
