Hanson <br />www.ci.little-canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: July 21, 2006 <br />RE: Parks & Recreation Commission Vacancy <br />The City has advertised the vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission (Ginger <br />Sacket - Glaser's resignation) from mid -May through July and has received no <br />applications. Advertising has occurred in the Roseville - Little Canada Review, on the <br />WEB site, and on the City's cable channel. A second vacancy has now occurred given <br />the resignation of David Grey at the July Commission meeting. <br />It would be staff's recommendation that we continue advertising the vacancies with the <br />hope that appointments could occur at the Council's August 23 "I meeting. <br />If you are aware of potential candidates for the Commission, please contact them and <br />encourage them to apply. <br />
