MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 14, 2012 <br />LCRA <br />CASINO <br />BUS TRIP <br />CITY <br />NEWSLETTER - <br />COLOR <br />SURVEY <br />RESULTS <br />of the entries were submitted to the Council with the Council to vote on <br />their top five choices. Each Council Members top choice was to receive 5 <br />points, the next choice 4 points, and so on. The Administrator reviewed <br />the results and noted that 18 entries received at least one vote of the <br />Council. Given vote spread, it was the consensus of the Council to revote <br />on the 18 entries, with each Council Member selecting their top three <br />street names, their top choice receiving 3 points, next choice 2 points, and <br />third choice 1 point. The Administrator reported that he discussed the <br />issue with the Mayor, and has his vote. <br />The City Administrator tallied up the ballots, and the top choice was <br />Millstone Road. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -48 — RENAMING FIRST BANK DRIVE <br />TO MILLSTONE ROAD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (1) Montour. Resolution declared adopted. <br />It was noted that the winning entry was submitted by Ramsey County <br />Sheriff's Deputy John Eastham. Deputy Eastham has won some City -logo <br />apparel for his winning entry. Montour suggested a street sign unveiling <br />ceremony when the new street sign is installed. <br />Montour announced that the Little Canada Recreation Association will be <br />hosting a casino bus trip on March 24, 2012 to Treasure Island Casino. <br />The cost is $15 for an afternoon of fun and merriment. The bus will leave <br />Little Canada at 1:00 p.m. and return at 7:00 p.m. Visit the City's web site <br />for details. <br />The City Administrator reported that the last issue of the City's newsletter <br />was printed in full color. Initially the newsletter was printed in two ink <br />colors, and as a cost savings measure a few years ago, it went to black and <br />white. In printing the full color version, the City encouraged readers to <br />participate in an online poll evaluating the full color option at an <br />additional cost of $3,027 for six issues. There were a minimal number of <br />survey responses, with 27 in favor of the full color newsletter and 31 in <br />favor of black and white. The Administrator indicated that he had a <br />couple of phone calls in support of black and white. The Administrator <br />noted that the number of responses is less than 100, and pointed out that in <br />7 <br />
