MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 14, 2012 McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -47 — APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS: MILL AND OVERLAYS: 2012 -01 -Park Street (County Road C to DentontAvenue) 2012 -02- Rosewood Drive (County Road C to the end) 2012 -03- Spruce Street (County Road C to the south) 2012 -04- Sylvan Street (County Road C to the south) PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENT: Spooner Park The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CALL The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for an INFO UPDATE Information Update Workshop on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at WORKSHOP 6:00 p.m. A potential list of projects includes the LaBore Area TIE update, Public Works Garage /redevelopment update, Rice Street Phase II update, Little Canada Road update, rental housing licensing update, Nuisance Ordinance, banners, etc. The Administrator indicated that it may be necessary to hold a separate workshop meeting to review the Rice Street Phase II project relative to easement acquisition. The Administrator reported that he will notify the Council if that is necessary. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -48 — CALLING AN INFORMATION UPDATE WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M. AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. NAME THE The City Administrator reported that a contest was held to rename First STREET Bank Drive given that First Bank has not been located in Little Canada CONTEST for several years. Also, since there are no addresses assigned to this RESULTS street, renaming it poses no inconvenience relative to address changes, etc. The Administrator reported that 61 entries were received.
