MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 14, 2012 <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -47 — APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS: <br />MILL AND OVERLAYS: <br />2012 -01 -Park Street (County Road C to DentontAvenue) <br />2012 -02- Rosewood Drive (County Road C to the end) <br />2012 -03- Spruce Street (County Road C to the south) <br />2012 -04- Sylvan Street (County Road C to the south) <br />PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENT: <br />Spooner Park <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for an <br />INFO UPDATE Information Update Workshop on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at <br />WORKSHOP 6:00 p.m. A potential list of projects includes the LaBore Area TIE <br />update, Public Works Garage /redevelopment update, Rice Street Phase II <br />update, Little Canada Road update, rental housing licensing update, <br />Nuisance Ordinance, banners, etc. The Administrator indicated that it <br />may be necessary to hold a separate workshop meeting to review the Rice <br />Street Phase II project relative to easement acquisition. The Administrator <br />reported that he will notify the Council if that is necessary. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -3 -48 — CALLING AN INFORMATION <br />UPDATE WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2012 AT 6:00 <br />P.M. AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NAME THE The City Administrator reported that a contest was held to rename First <br />STREET Bank Drive given that First Bank has not been located in Little Canada <br />CONTEST for several years. Also, since there are no addresses assigned to this <br />RESULTS street, renaming it poses no inconvenience relative to address changes, etc. <br />The Administrator reported that 61 entries were received.
