The applicant's existing CUP is otherwise unaffected by the request. The <br />proposal consists of 3 containers, each 8 feet by 8.5 feet by 20 feet in length. The CUP <br />process for outdoor storage has a specific provision for such containers, as follows: <br />0. Open and Outdoor Storage as an accessory use, provided that: <br />6. When storage or shipping containers are utilized, the following regulations shall <br />apply: <br />a. Containers shall be those manufactured expressly for the purpose of storing <br />and /or shipping materials. <br />The applicant indicates that the containers meet this requirement. <br />b. No container, for the purpose of this ordinance, shall be greater than forty (40) <br />feet in length, eight (8) feet in width, or eight and one half (8.5) feet in height. <br />The proposed containers are 20 feet in length, below the maximum size <br />threshold. <br />c. No more than one (1) such container may be allowed for each seven thousand five <br />hundred (7,500) square feet of lot area. <br />The lot area is approximately 60,000 square feet in area, more than <br />adequate for 3 containers as requested. <br />3 <br />
