CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />Voting System Plan <br />June 14, 2006 <br />The City of Little Canada has acquired three (3) Automark ballot marking devices <br />from Election Systems and Software (ES &S). The following is the electronic <br />voting system plan required by Minnesota Statutes §206.82, subdivision 2. <br />I. Acquisition of Sufficient Facilities <br />A. All ballot marking devices were initially delivered to the Ramsey County <br />Elections Office, located in the Ramsey County Government Center West, <br />50 W. Kellogg Blvd, St Paul, MN 55102. <br />B. This building has security guards on duty 24 hours a day. <br />C. The equipment was delivered via surface carrier from the manufacturer. <br />D. Upon delivery all devices were moved to the Elections secured warehouse <br />space. <br />E. The entire floor containing the Elections warehouse space is restricted by <br />key access and the specific space is secured using a separate lock <br />system. Two distinct sets of keys are required to gain access to the area <br />where all voting equipment is stored. <br />F. Upon completion of acceptance testing by Ramsey County on May 25, <br />2006, three (3) Automark devices were delivered to the City of Little <br />Canada, 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 by Express <br />Messenger Services, Inc. <br />G. Acknowledgment of delivery was provided to Ramsey County on June 7, <br />2006. All ballot marking devices will be securely stored at the City Center, <br />515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117. In preparation for <br />each election, the ballot marking devices will be transported to the polling <br />places by the Little Canada Public Works Department. <br />II. Computer Time <br />A. No third parties will be used for the programming of the Automark ballot - <br />marking devices. All Automark - related programming will be conducted <br />exclusively by Ramsey County Elections staff. <br />B. All system programming will be done using Automark Information <br />Management Software, version 1.1. <br />1 <br />2 <br />
