Hanson
Earlier this year the salary scale for the Public Works Maintenance Supervisor position
was retained at the 2005 level pending resolution of a performance issue. That
performance issue has been satisfactorily resolved. Therefore, it is my recommendation
that effective July 1, 2006 the scale be increased to the 2006 level that was proposed at
the time the 2006 Budget was adopted. This scale is reflected below:
Joe Steele, Public Works Maintenance Supervisor **
2005 Wage: $21.73
2006 Wage: $22.81 ($.25 deduct for Sewer License) — effective July 1, 2006
2005 Salary Scale: (3 %) (Sr. S & W & Skilled Mechanic)
Start 1 2 3 4 5
18.15 18.87 19.59 20.31 21.03 21.73
2006 Proposed Salary Scale: (Ramsey County Cities — PW Lead) 6.1% Scale Increase
Start 1 2 3 4 5
18.72 20.02 20.78 21.55 22.31 23.06
Since the 2006 Budget was adopted, there has been additional analysis of the salary scale
for the Administrative /Accounting Technician position to ensure that it most accurately
reflects the duties performed as well as the appropriate allocation of duties between
accounting functions and administrative functions. Based on this review, it is my
recommendation that the salary scale be adjusted as reflected below effective July 1,
2006:
