Division 7 - Fire Safety <br />Sec. 13 -114. Compliance. <br />No person shall occupy as owner- occupant or shall let to another for occupancy any dwelling, multiple <br />dwelling, rooming house, rooming unit, or portion thereof for the purpose of living, sleeping, cooking, or <br />eating therein that does not comply with the applicable provisions of the City's Fire Prevention Code and <br />the following additional standards for safety. Flammable Liquid Prohibited. <br />No residence building or rooming unit shall be located within a building containing a business that <br />handles, dispenses or stores flammable liquids with a flash point of 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees <br />Celsius) as defined by the National Board of Fire Underwriters. Cooking and Heating Equipment. <br />All cooking and heating equipment, components, accessories, and devices shall be maintained free from <br />leaks and obstructions and kept functioning properly to be free from fire, health, and accident hazards. All <br />installations and repairs shall be made in accordance with the regulations of the Building Code. (Code <br />1966; Ord.
