(b) To encourage the type of land development which will have the least adverse effect on the
natural flow offlood water and at the same time protect life and property.
This project has no impact on flood water.
(c) To encourage land uses which lead to the preservation of marshes and natural vegetation in
those areas where such conditions are an important factor in the maintenance of constant water
flow,
There are no marshes in the vicinity of the project. The vegetation that was growing was not an
important factor in the maintenance of constant water flow. This project will not have an
adverse effect on the maintenance of constant water flow.
(d) To utilize the ponding concept and other methods to minimize fast run off of surface waters
from developed areas and to minimize the introduction of pollutional materials from those areas
into the natural waterways, ditches and lakes.
This is a relatively level lot without impervious surfaces in the backyard, and the majority of the
lot has a large natural, woodland buffer between the lake and the backyard. The only area that
does not contain the buffer is the area of the proposed project. These conditions minimize fast
run off of surface water into the lake.
(e) To prevent the obstructing of the free flow of water in the streams and ditches.
No streams or ditches are in the area.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you in the future.
Sincerely,
Terry Sanders
President
