The City will provide: 1. Hydrant(s) or other suitable water source for sweepers. 2. Space for overnight parking in the area of the City garage. Program 2: The second quotation is the cost for a late summer /fall sweeping to include sweeper(s), operator(s), and transportation to a dump site selected by the contractor that will accept leaves. The sweep will take place between late August and early October. The City will provide: 1. Hydrant(s) or other suitable water source for sweepers. 2. Space for overnight parking in the area of the City garage. Alternate 1 for Program 2 Only: This alternate is for the City to provide trucking of material to the designated site chosen by the contractor. It is anticipated that one, single axel truck would be used due to lower volumes of material to removed from the roads in the summer period. The City will provide: 1. Hydrant(s) or other suitable water source for sweepers. 2. Space for overnight parking in the area of the City garage. 3. Single -axel dump truck. Other Details: A City map is enclosed. Based on past records, there are approximately 30 centerline miles of City streets that take between 90 and 120 hours to sweep in the spring. It is anticipated that the late summer /fall sweep will not take as long. No parlcing lots are included in the sweeping program. Quotations shall be directed to the Public Works Superintendent and delivered to City Hall at 515 E. Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 or faxed to (651) 766 -4048. The City reserves the right to reject any and all quotations and waive irregularities and infouualities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
